Hello All, In my last blog i had mentioned that my birthday and Anniversary is fast approaching, and hence i am busy exploring markets and shopping...The complete blog was a report on Splash Summer Collection as i wasn't too sure of where i am going and what i am doing on my birthday and Anniversary.... But now as we have planned to go to Singapore to celebrate both the big days, it is the time for smart packing for a weeks vacation.
Today's blog will be a short tips for all the girls who faces a hard time in packing and struggle as what to keep and how to keep.....For me packing is one of the fun parts of travel, but it is also something that stresses me out. I often agonize over every little pieces of clothing and every bit of toiletry that goes into my bag or suitcase. Sometimes a little bit of advice goes a long way....
Firstly it depends where you are going, one need to pack according to the weather of the destination planned... Summer's arrived to the core and sooner we gonna have a summer break in schools and i am sure most of us will plan a vacation, Well most of the places is going to be pretty hot and humid like Singapore,
I am going to pack lightweight, summer clothing, including shorts, T-shirts, cotton dresses, jeans and lightweight pants, and sandals. All clothing should fit loosely for comfort in the heat. Pack comfortable, lightweight, shoes for walking or for long sightseeing excursions. Carry a lightweight hat with a good sun protective sunglasses to protect you from sunburn and headache....
Sharing some pics to make it more easier for packing it light for a short summer vacation.

Some more Packing Essential List..
Clothes - It’s always wise to dress in comfortable and light clothes. Cotton T-Shirts work best. Skirts and dresses are also good as they are cool and easy to move around in and will take you from day to night activities with ease.I would also recommend packing one nice outfit to wear on nights out or while enjoying a good meal at any of fine restaurants.
Comfortable shoes – Pack comfortable shoes for walking around in. You may want to pack a pair of runners if you’re planning a big day of walking, I usually pack sandals and the like because my feet get too hot in runners.
Laungrie -Good fitting and comfortable laungrie( Pack one extra, might need to change twice in a day)
Accesories to bring a little spark in your casual wear.
Makeup to keep yourself feel fresh and confident all the day while visiting one place to another.
Make a little kit bag – I always have a little bag with some wet wipes and hand sanitiser in my bag so I can freshen up before I touch my food and after I eat, because sticky food on your hands + humidity = nightmare. Cotton, Nail Polish Remover, Nail Cutter.
Tissues – If you get out of the main tourist areas and head out to the outer lying areas you may find the public toilets a little grubby. I’ve had a few unfortunate moments of being caught without toilet paper, so make sure you have a pocket pack of tissues in your bag, just in case. Also, you can use your hand sanitiser and tissues to sanitise a toilet seat if you need to sit down to go.
Medicines – It’s so easy to buy medicines in anywhere, aside from your prescriptions, don’t feel like you need to pack absolutely everything. There’s usually a chemist nearby so if you get a tummy ache or headache, you can easily run in and get what you need, but still i prefer carrying few medicines with me always for emergency. It is important to pack enough medication for the whole visit and backup medication if lost or stolen. Make sure that all prescription bottles have a complete label.
Cosmetics and toiletries – Pack small bottles of cosmetics and toiletries like body washes, face scrubs and shampoo and conditioner instead of buying it there.
Sunscreen or sunblock is important to protect yourself from skin cancer.
A hat and a Sunglass to protect you from the heat and few branded Perfumes.
Hair Accesories -Hair Curlers or Straightening Machine, Sprays and a comb are something which i never forget...I believe that hair has a most important role in making you look good despite of whatever you wear....
Camera or iPhone and Mac Book(Most Important for me) – Who travels without a camera these days? Almost no one. But just to be safe, make sure to bring along your digital camera or be prepared to snap away on your iPhone or other smartphone camera. Do not forget to keep the chargers...
ID card with you at all times – Make sure you have your ID card, or passport, tickets with you at all times and you pack all your important documents as well.
Last but not the least An empty stomach – For all of the amazing food that you will discover and eat :):):)
